Sensory Experiences in the Nursery – Wahi Ako Kākano
Our nursery tamariki thrive on sensory experiences and love getting messy in the process. Water play, Paint, mirrors and other tactile resources provide rich learning for tamariki learning about the world around them.
Local Schools
We love having strong relationships with our local schools, and especially when they come to visit us here at Ako. Mrs Fee from Rolleston Primary is visiting on this occasion and meeting tamariki who will be transition into the school early in the new year.
Christmas Preperations
We just love Christmas at Ako Rolleston, and our tamariki especially love getting festive with all the different experiences provided in the lead up to Christmas. Our Christmas party is especially awesome because Santa arrives with ice creams – YUM!
